Are you asking about voltage drop calculations?

The NEC only contains informational notes that address voltage drop. Check out the informational (Fine Print) Notes to 210.19 Note #4 and 215.2(A) Note #2. Keep in mind that Informational Notes (Formally called fine print notes) are note enforceable as code rules but are only meant for additional information.

Just to add to Chris' response...The only place, as far as I know, that the code requires you to meet specific voltage drop requirements is for fire pumps (695.7).

That would be ASHRAE 90.1 that requires compliance with voltage drop. The 2009 IECC does not contain voltage drop requirements.
