A question and a request. The question is, ?Is this a job-related installation, or does this have to do with something you are planning to install in your own home?? The request is, ?please do not type in ALL CAPITALS, as it makes the post harder to read, and is considered impolite (as though you were SHOUTING at us).?

Yes it would be OK. The question is; Why would you want to use BX cable in an unfloored

attic crawl space ? Romex is a whole lot easier to work with. If you use nail on fiberglass

boxes, no special connectors are required.

Romex is illegal out here in most suburbs. The only time you can use it is with temps. A lot of the suburbs use a hybrid of NEC and CEC (Chicago Electrical Code).
