New Jersey Electrical Contractors Exam

I am preparing for the NJ Electrical Contractors Exam. The test has 3 sections including NJ Contractors Law, NFPA - 70 and NFPA -72.

The contractors law is easy. Mike Holt takes care of NFPA -70 but he does not cover NFPA - 72 which deals with security systems and fire protection.

Does anyone know a source for review questions for the NFPA - 72 part of the exam.

NFPA 72 does not deal with security systems, it only deals with fire alarm and signalling systems.

You can view NFPA 72 on-line by going to the NFPA website and clicking on view document on-line after you get to the document.

That section of the test is not only on NFPA 72, it is on Security Systems as well.

At the end you will see the books required for each section of the test.

I will be taking the test next year too, I'm just waiting on the Board to finish with my application. Good luck!
