I am just trying to get some things straight. In a class 1 div 2 area
if it does not spark, You don't need X proof boxes fittings or Flex. But you do need threaded steel conduit, Xproof unions, conduit seals and you can use liquidtight, class1 div 2 boxs and condulets?

Xproof unions
only between enclosures that are required to be explosionproof and the seal,
conduit seals
seals are required at boundries and enclosures that are required to be explosionproof

Some of the equiptment is purged and I would think you should seal comming out of that?
Unlike Division 1 [NEC 501.15(A)(2)], where seals are virtually mandatory, seals for a purged or pressurized protection technique in Division 2 take some judgment and analysis [NEC 501.15(B)(2) Ex No. 3]. NFPA 496 is a critical reference for making the call. Type Z (Class I, Division 2 to unclassified) pressurizing requirements are fairly minimal. See NFPA 496, Sections 4.8 and 5.4.
