UL/CSA-Certificate for the motors

We are receiving some equipment from Germany. Is it required by NFPA-70 to have the electric motors UL/CSA-Certified?

Not by the NEC. General purpose domestic motors aren't UL listed either. A CSA mark is not NRTL for motors. If the installation is in Canada a Canadian recognized certification mark is necessary.
