200 Amp Pedestal

A manufactured home has a 200 pedestal with a meter socket. The manufactured home is being removed leaving behind the pedestal. A site built home is within 80? of the pedestal. The site built home has a 200 amp panel with meter socket not connected to the utility company
Question
Can the old manufactured home pedestal feed the site built house. I know there will be neutral issues and 310-15 says 2/0 and 310-16 says 3/0
 
Since the new home already has a new Meter and panel with Main why would someone want to leave the pedastal? BTW, what code cycle are you under?

the pedestal is out of the way and it would save the cost of trenching,conduit and wire for 300'

If the feed for the pedestal is direct burial cable then the utility company may just splice the feed at the pedestal and continue on to the site built home. You wouldn't even need the pedestal.

Talk to one of the engineers at the power company. 300 ft of trenching can get expensive if you have to pay for it. They spice those all the time so if the cable isn't real old they may use it.
