Need to size a pull box for 5kv cable. Here's the scenerio, I have 2-5"c entering the top of the box with 1 exiting each side of the box. (Angle Pull). each 5"c will have 3-500kcmil 5kv cable. The outside diameter over sheath of 1.3in. If I'm to understand article 314.71.B.1 correctly, then the box should be sized (36x 1.3)=46.8in plus 5 (#of remain conductors) x 1.3 =6.5in. 46.8 + 6.5 = 53.3in to the opposite wall. 314.71.B.2 distance to between entry to exit would be 36 x 1.3= 47in. So it appears to me that a box measured 53.3(54") x 47" would be acceptable. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
