PROJECT MANAGEMENT PAPER MANAGEMENT

I'm an Electrical Project Manager, I'm constantly dealing with to much paper for different jobs that I'm running, meeting that I need to be in, carrying drawings to the job ect.....
I'm looking to buy an apple I-pad to see if it can help me with it. Does anyone have any suggestion in what technology I need to invest to help me on the different jobs? Or an app that I can down load?

If you have the documents electronically, then a laptop is the way to go. That way you can type on a keyboard and file the documents in project folders.
