Siemans 16/24 panel

I went to the supply house today to purchase my usual panel: Siemens 16/24 125 amp main lug. I was told the panel has changed and the new model does not include a ground bar and has only one bar for neutrals. What is this all about? What is the purpose of a main lug panel without a ground bar? I had to purchase the ground bar separately:? and drill and tap the holes.


The new panel number is: s1624L1125

They (Siemens) must have been reading about my complaints of Square D getting away with this so I guess we now have another?

Siemens always allowed you to remove the jumper bar between the two neutral bars to allow one to be used as a grounding bar, so you saying they only have one neutral bar now?
