OSHA 30

Took it this year, did not think much of it good or bad. Just like any other course of requirements take what I need and leave the rest. Though we did get a few good lunches out of it.

i did the osha 30 online last april or may, it was looong, due to the drone of the monotone voise, it took me 40 some hours to get thru it, however i did . i would prefer to take a "class" next time, if for nothing else, then just for personnel interaction. i feel it is important to know the material, i don't use it greatly in my position, however, i'm glad to have the training and the card. next time real people, regardless the cost. it did help in ceu's for my recertification process:thumbsup:

I took the OSHA 30 in 1998. The card doesn't have an expiration date.
I talked to an OSHA guy at a code update course and he told me that it is still good.

Anyone ever told that their card was expired?

I was also told there is no expiration date. As for the course itself for the most part I think it was a waste of time. It did make me aware of some of the reporting requirements but as an employer it doesn't really matter to me. If I do ever try to venture out on my own it would be relevant.

The 10 hour on line osha was brutal to make it thru.
The quiz's and test at the end was not easy.
I took good notes and had to use them to get thru the final test.
Took me 15 or more hours:ashamed1:
Never again will I do a online osha.:happysad:
