I have a small timer to install. It is a 110v solid state timer used to delay a motor starter. Made by Crouzet (MAS5) in France. I don't understand the diagram on the case and 4 of the 6 terminals are not marked. I imagine that it is a fairly standard drawing. Can anybody walk me thru it?

I have term A1 and A2. What do the latters U and R stand for here? :?

No I can't walk you through this, First off I searched my favorite search engine and the first reply was that this product is no longer available!

The best I could do was get to the full catalog Here

Based off of this search, diagram crouzet

Does it have a schematic on it?

A1 and A2 are likely the coil. If there is only six terminals my guess is double pole single throw being 4 of the terminals and coil is the other 2.

Found a good explaination on a cruzet forum. A1 and A2 are the only terminals used. The timer is installed in series with the load, kind of like a prox switch. The extra terminals are part of the general timer case, but are not used in this configuration.
