How would I calculate the size wire/pipe for a 200a feed about 150' from switchboard to 200A panel? Foreman said to run a 200a feed. Copper in EMT. THanks.

Count your conductor Number and size. Go to chapter 9 Tables 4 & 5 and calculate the needed pipe size. If it is 3 phase with a full neutral then you need 4- 3/0 copper usually thhn wire for 200 amps. If a ground is needed then #6 based on T.250.122

It would be good for you to know this, so do the home work for this project...........but I have to ask..........Is that not his (the formans) job?

Sorry, alittle ticked off here........some guy on a music forum bought a couple mics for 15000 dollars and is nervous about telling his wife. Turns out he's a doctor. geez.........

Thanks for letting me vent.

Back on topic....conductor size..any relative voltage drop.....whats the ambient temperature.... Don't forget to size to the 75 degree column.

Gonna go plug my 100 dollar mic in now...thanks.
