Does anybody know of a ground clamp that will work for a 6 5/8 diameter fence post? also a 4" post. American made? I think we have to use a # 1 wire to ground rod.

Have you looked into water pipe clamps?

Another option may be to grind the galvanize off in a small spot, weld a tab on, paint it with cold spray galvanize and then bolt your lug to that.

What about a Cadweld CAVS mold?

I know that Burndy makes a heavy duty ground clamp for 4". I am not sure if the make bigger sized ones. I do know that I have seen some on 8 and 10" pipe, but nut sure who made them.

I would have thought the fence around any PV installation, but nope.

I've gotten big water pipe clamps from Penn Union as well.

I've been in a substation and seen the posts and barb wire bonded.

All of ours are bonded with each strand bonded individually at each grounding point.(092E(6)) Kinda seems like overkill, but they pay me to install it, not to question it...
