Well, Monday was my 22nd anniversary as the electrical inspector here and today I survived another review.

So whoever had me being fired in the pool, is out of luck.:roll:

I just want to let you all know how much I enjoy this forum. I use things we have talked about for training and I like the different opinions that make you open your mind sometimes and, of course, if you've read my posts, you know I enjoy the humor. This trade has supported me and my family for almost 35 years and I am very proud of what I do and I am proud to call some of you friend.

Here's to the next 22 years. Unless I win the lottery this weekend, in which case, it was nice knowing ya.:lol:

We'll do that. I used to go to every one, but then the drives just seemed like to much and I kind of quit going except to the Ventura one. Now one of my objectives was to start attending the meetings again so I sould see you in a couple of months. Besides Chuck owes me a 20 year pin.:happyyes:

Congratulations on not getting "FIRED" for 22 years not to many people can say that.

It is good to see that after 35 years in the Electrical trade that you still enjoy it.....:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congrats on your having fooled them for 22 years.

I do a lot of work with the local Habitat for Humanity, rehabbing old houses. They frequently want some weird thing built or modified. I think of you every time I respond "Well, just draw me a picture on the back of a big enough check, and I'll make it happen." Thanks for letting me steal your tag line.
 
Congratulations John. I've enjoyed laughing with you and even fighting with you sometimes. I can fight with you and you don't have jurisdiction to take it out on me by flunking my inspections.:D

Unless the lottery has made a mistake which i hope they have, otherwise we have to see you for the next 22 years. ;)

I have learned lots of good info from you as well. :thumbsup:

I lied to get the job, they lied about the job, I consider us even.:lol:

I have a funny story about knowing inspectors from different city's but it takes to long to tell here, but I think you're pretty safe in NC.:D
