In reading article 410.10 (D) regarding luminaires in bathrooms I am a bit confused on luminaires located outside of the of the 3 foot zone from a tub or shower.
410.10 (D) Luminaires located with in the actual out-side dimension of the bathtub or shower to a height of 2.5 m (8 ft) vertically from the top of the bathtub rim or shower thershold shall be marked for damp locations, or marked for wet locations where subject to shower spray.
My question is does this mean that luminaires located out side of the 3 foot horizontal zone have to be listed for damp locations?
all fixtures in bathrooms with showers or tubs need to be listed for damp location?
