Yeah, they installed those incorrectly that is why they failed. :roll:

In our case we had to drill 1" holes 18" deep and install 3/4" threaded rods into those holes with epoxy. They will never come out.

i've done the same.


used something called C6 epoxy. that stuff sets harder than concrete.

The only solution I have seen used is Iwire's. My company was contracted to replace 5 existing light poles with poles that had a different base design. Engineer's solution was to cut bolts, redrill base, and epoxy new bolts. We only ended up having to cut one of the 4 bolts, the pattern was close enough that we could reuse 3 of the originals. May save the OP some time and money if he can do the same.
