So i recently encounted a problem in SKM and have been have a hard time finding a solution.
we have a big job, so we copy the entire SKM file to the desktop to work on it.
I worked on it for 3 days and went on vacation for 2 days and forgot to reupload it to the server.
While out, sombody else worked on the old version. Most of my work was in the creation of new One-Line, so i figured I would copy them in from the old project and everything would be ok but when i do so, all the "new devices" don't show up.

Anybody know how to do this?

The last time something like this happened to me, I believe I got my orphaned "new devices" into my parent file by merging the two of them. I still had to rebuild the actual one-lines.

If you added new device on the oneline connected to existing, click on an existing device and click the expand icon (horizontal black line with red arrow up and down). It will populate the oneline with whatever it is connected to in the data base.

If it is a device in the database but not on the oneline not connected to an existing device, then right click on the oneline and then Existing, then expand from there.

thanks for the info guys,
I also messaged SKM and they actually got back to me with this:

"You can save the one-line as a template and paste it on any project. To save it as a template, highlight the one-line. Click on the One-Line tab and select Templetes. Create a new template and now that one-line will be save in the database. Just go to any project and you could paste that one-line. Please let me know if that helps."

I will try these things this afternoon and let you know how it goes.
