I see this error all the time, and it's really quite egregious. Who puts lights under a counter?
Same thing with "hot water heater."

I'll play along,
I have undercabinet lighting, but I suppose you could mount them under the counter if you wish...
Wouldn't any water that is above absolute zero have some heat in it, and as such the hot water heater would merely be adding more heat to water that is already relatively hot compared to water with absolutely no heat...

I've installed lots of under-counter lighting.

But I generally refer to it as toe-kick lighting.

Not sure about other languages but you can find many many expressions in English that are absurd.
