I routinely use Cooper devices. I've found that some specific plugs just do not want to go into their T/R receptacles. It doesn't seem to be the receptacle that is the problem because I've tried the same plug in multiple receptacles and had insertion difficulty. I've also tried many other plugs in the receptacles and had no problem with insertion (just like they weren't T/R at all). I've compared the plugs and can't find any obvious difference between those that go in easily and those that don't. I am tired of callbacks for people who can't plug their stuff into the T/R receptacles.

Do I need to change brands? Is there something about the plug that I'm missing?

Thanks,

Mark

I have seen some plugs where the blades were slightly thicker than normal that would not go into a TR recep. They would go into a standard one, but with some difficulty.

Try another device manufacturer, I found the same thing with Cooper and no longer use them for this reason among others.
