Utility Sub Contrator

I had my Local Utility Company (Progress Energy) contact me today. I am going to sit down with them later this week and listen to what they have to say, but Mainly they would Sub out work to me at customers homes. Our utility company offers electrical service to their customers for a monthly fee. Most of the work is related to the service and very little is inside the house.

I was just curious if any of you are doing work or have done work for a utility company. It doesn't sound like a bad deal as long as they agree to my prices.

Is this what you are talking about? https://www.progress-energy.com/car...vices/warranty-programs/homewire-service.page

I would make sure I got paid anything above the $500 regardless of whether or not the customer makes a payment to progress energy

Oh, are you good at telephone wiring?

I'm not to worried about them not paying and yes I have experience with residential telephone wiring.

OK.
I have been a contractor for Progress Energy. Wonder when Duke will make their changes...
I work for another utility now.
