Just bought the 2005 version(cheap) and I am watching the raceway fill part. They are referencing RHH without outer covering and I see that in the table in chapter 9 but what is "without outer covering"?.... No insulation???? Thanks

No. The outer covering is a covering over the insulation. Its material will vary with conductor type (nylon jacket, glass braid, etc.)

For RHH, it is "moisture resistant, flame retardant, non-metallic covering" except that some RHH insulation types will not require a covering. See Table 310.104(A).

RHH with and without covering is one of those things that they like to use in exams to make sure you are paying close attention to the question.:happyyes:
