If any of you ever do a Google search on section 16450 (or the new master spec number 26 0536) You'll find a great number of diverse sections.
I work at a firm that has more than 20 different 16450's on the server and don't really like any of them.
Does anyone have a good WORD or PDF version for 16450,that's pretty much inclusive, including the recent 2011 NEC changes?
I'm still attempting to wrap my head around grounding and bonding.

I use Masterspec, so I can't give it out. You have to be careful to edit it for every job though because every job is different. The hardest part is figuring out what to take out and making sure you haven't contradicted yourself. The Arcom spec software is really good for this kind of thing.

16450 should be a pretty short section for typical commercial/residential. For telecomm facilities or outdoor utility, you might have a bit more to say. It only gets squirrely when you try to delegate design. I don't think you need a lot of b.s. there if your drawings show all of the ground wire sizes. The "only-say-it-once" rule applies here.

I have a standard GEC detail that I tweak for various neutral-grounding and separately derived situations. All the wire sizes are shown.
