On the short circuit calculation sheet on Mike's speed sheet where did the 22,185 come from in answer #2. I once seen a formula that was some thing like KVA x Impedance x voltage devided by resitance x length x 1000 or some thing like that. but I also have 6 parell conducts. Come any one simplify the calculatin

I cannot really help much, but I can tell that 22,185 is "C", the constant variable for 500 kcmil CU conductors in steel conduit from Table 2 in the example.

The bottom of the table tells how C is derived.
