Damn, the rest of us have been running raceways without considering if the conductors would fit. .

Well, I may have overstated the obvious when it comes to more cable than you have raceway for, but even when following the 40% fill rules for power conductors, I have had plenty of 40% or less filled raceways that have pulled pretty hard. So I would think if I had similar fill with communications I still would not want more than 40% fill on a long pull or one with three or four 90 deg bends

I don't know why 800 has the exemption, really it makes no sense. ...

There is no electrical safety hazard if you damage a communication cable because you tried to put too many in the raceway.

Class 1 circuits, probably not, class 2 and 3 circuits probably so.

If you go to the Belden web site, you should be able to get a free slide calculator sent to you. It have lots of cables on it, with diameters, and tells you how many will fit in conduits
