What are you all using out there for tuggers. We need to buy a tugger and i have been looking at the Maxis 6K and the Greenlee UT8. Both tuggers utilize the no anchoring option. However the greenlee tugger is demountable and it can be anchored. The greenlee is almost twice the price.

For 20 years we've used Greenlee Super-tuggers until the Ultra-tuggers became popular a few years ago. On my current job we've been using several Greenlee Ultra-tuggers every day for months. There is no comparison between that and the Maxis 6K. Also IMO the bolt down option is a must. I've used the similar (smaller) Maxis 3K and it's a great machine but it's not even close to the Greenlee. It's also nice to be able to attach the tugger directly to the pipe with the chain mount.

For safety's sake you should use the mounting hardware and adapters that mount the tugger to the conduit you are pulling the wire in.
