2008 NEC - cycle in play in California...

How many outlets would be required on this Island?

Flat across entire top - has a sink and cook-top in it, and > 24" behind the sink and cook-top.

What is the dimensions from edge to range and edge to sink

What if an inspector wants at least 3 - installed post finishes? Claims counter-top is divided between appliances, although much greater than 24" behind each appliance.

FYI - I have 2 quads, one on each end, both required circuits in each. I think I've exceeded the code here right?

It is considered multiple counter tops so 210.52 (2) does not apply

It would be IF there were LESS than 12" behind either the sink or cook-top. This is much more than 12" - so it is ONE counter top

I missed the 24 behind the stove so it would be single.

Since you have installed at least one receptacle according to 210.52(C)(2) and the space behind the sink and cook top is over 12", I would say you are complient.
