Online Certifications

Anyone know where I could take certification courses online that aren't ridiculously expensive? So far I can't find any decent ones for under $1000. Looking for BAS, motor controls, energy management, test instruments, etc...

Designing and maintaining on line courses is very expensive too.

Do you need a piece of paper that says you're certified or do you just need the information? You could check online education sites like
