2011 NEC for Wisconsin?

Looks like Wisconsin is jumping on the 2011 NEC bandwagon.

Like Tn, "a day late and a dollar short!"

Is Wisconsin even a state? :lol: For the first time NC was very late in adopting the 2011 NEC. We usually have it by May or June of the year it comes out but it took over a year to adopt it this time.

Heck Missouri and Connecticut are on the 2005- at least as of Jan. 2013

WOW! They are going to have to do alot of studying if they ever get to 2011.

There was talk that we (Wisconsin) wouldn't adopt the 2011 at all. Usually it's about one year after a new code book cycle for Wisconsin to adopt. Not sure what's taking so long this cycle.

Don't know all the deatils.

We didn't like 2008 (AFCI and selective coordination were big issues back then).
In 2011, it was decided(?) not to submit a proposal to the State Legislature until 2013. I have not tried to find out what is being proposed now.
