discussing rate of pay got me thinking about passing that on to the customer. Their are alot of books and tools available to calculate what to charge the customer. For the most part I have found that the one thing they lack is the customer part of the equation. Most can discuss how they arrive at their price and have the answer to most questions that fall in that area. The one question I have is now you have reached your price how do you get the customer to agree? This really is the "million diollar" question.
 
#1 sales person that I am, I let the customer decide. I give them the reasons I bid what I did, answer questions and go on about my day. I may toss and turn in early morning hours for the bigger jobs but that is more about if I had forgotten anything. Keep in mind that bigger jobs for me is petty cash for some.
