Mounting to 3 1/2" O.D. tubular steel framing

Customer put up a 110' by 70' "temporary" building. The roof and sides are basically a huge single piece tarp.

I need to wire and install some lighting. I'm considering mounting wood to the 3 1/2" tubular steel framing with U-bolts, then mounting wallpacks to the wood.

Never encountered a job like this before.
Any thoughts or suggestions.

I've got kind of the same thing on the table. It is an enclosed insulated steel garage. I was going to use steel track and studs to mount my EMT on. Span the structural steel frame with some track and tek screw it all together with one hole straps on the EMT. Not as heavy as the unistrut nor as costly. Mine is covered though with corrugated steel sheet, not a tarp.

if the tube frame is 3 1/2" od, that is the same as 3" GRC.
so i'd use strut straps and 1 5/8" strut to attach to the
frame, then bolt whatever to the back of the strut.
say two 1' long pieces of strut per wall pack, with nuts
and bolts holding the pack to the backside of the strut.
