Any 2014 Changes Regarding Number of Current Carrying Conductors in Raceway?

Hello,

I have not yet looked at the 2014 changes to the NEC. Does anyone know of any changes being made regarding number of current carrying conductors in raceways? In my jurisdiction we are allowed to put 9 - #12 THWN current carrying conductors in a single raceway and still rate them at 20-amperes.

Still the same however this was added. Sounds like the travelers of a 3 way only need to be counted as one.

1Number of conductors is the total number of conductors in the raceway
or cable, including spare conductors. The count shall be adjusted
in accordance with 310.15(B)(5) and (6). The count shall not include
conductors that are connected to electrical components but that cannot
be simultaneously energized.

Is Note 1 to Table 310.15(B)(3)(a) in conflict with the rule in 310.16(B)(4)? The note says all conductors are to be counted as current carrying conductors, and the rule in (B)(4) says that grounded conductor does not have to be counted as a current carrying conductor under some conditions.

Also note that this note requires spare conductors to be counted at current carrying conductors.

310.15(B)(3) note states we can adjust based on 310.15 (B)(4) & (B)(5)-- that is exemptions for grounded (where it applies) and grounding conductors
