shunt trip wiring?

Go and trip the breaker Locally .

Second option , take out the coil of the breaker and route it via a relay ,
now you can operate this relay , as per your wish .

The shunt trip of a breaker is commonly 120vac be cause that is the voltage which is commonly available. However other voltages are available.
To trip the breaker 120vac is supplied to the ST, thE ST hits the trip bar and trips the breaker. When the breaker trips a lever on the ST is moved by the breaker to open a N/C contact to the open position to remove the 120vac from the ST coil so that it is fried.
As such and way that you can provide a 120vac (or another voltage with a matching ST for that matter) to activate the ST is what you need. Since a ST has a cutoff switch the voltage used to activate the ST doesn't have to be momentary. But remember that you have tripped the breaker once the ST have been energized an must be reset (latched) on closed. But will immediately trip again should the voltage not be removed from the ST.
It's now up to you to decide what methods that you want to use to active the ST.
