Is there a minimum spacing requirement table within the NEC that states two conduits entering a junction box or enclosure in parallel must be a certain distance apart? I searched and could not find any references to the NEC.

TTBOMK, references to conduit spacing simply say the spacing must be maintained. There are no actual distance requirements. I believe those references rely on the minimum mechanical distance required for connection of the conduits to the same enclosure.

I tried a proposal a number of cycles back to specify a specific distance. The CMP rejected the proposal with the comment that as long as you have enough space to get the lock nuts and other fittings on the raceway, you have enough space between the raceways.

Dont forget about 314.28.

Study Article 314.28 (2) this is for; Angle or U Pulls, or Splices,
second parpagraph is appliable if your using junction box as a U or angle run of the
same conductors, one in and one out, not is respects to dropping various circuits
off to a junc. box.
