A 120/240V breaker's rating is based on voltage to ground being not greater than 120V any connected line to ground. The stinger leg on a grounded 3? 4W delta is approximately 208V to ground ? 240.15(B)(3).

The other most likely similar applications would be the use of same breakers on a 240 volt corner grounded system or 277/480 rated breakers and a 480 volt corner grounded system.
