Iwire, what do you do when "hot work" comes up? Do you tell them you are shutting that area down or do you get out the PPE?

I work in a lot of schools. You wanna know about having to watch out for things while you work on electrical equipment and lighting, just contract service work in schools. The elementary schools are best, those kids listen and behave for the most part. Worst is the all girls Catholic high school, it is not that they are disobedient , it is just that they run around clueless for the most part, a ladder with someone on it working is the perfect thing to walk into while giggling and looking elsewhere, so working there I have to absolutely barricade off work area's or come in on Saturday.
