Estimating Software

Hello everyone. I just registered here on the Forum and look forward to some great reading. I have a question for all you estimators out there.

I have been using Mccormick WIN 6000 for about seven years and we are about to upgrade computers. Is there anything out there better and more cost effective. We will have a total of three users and try to set up a network.

Any suggestions?

yeah... if the software offers a "dirtbag customer" module, i'd spring for that....

one that automatically senses a customers unwillingness and/or inability to pay
their bill, and prevents you from printing a quote.

This guy is a member here.....http://www.electricalflatrate.com/.....There are several members who use his programs.
It is telling me that the http address is not found.
I did register with a software advisor. They called me and discussed my companys needs and recomended a couple of programs. I don't know exactly what happened after that but, in the following days I have recieved no less than 3 calls a day trying to sell me software. I think I will just get a new pack of #2 pencils.

Thanks

If he's using McCormick, he's probably doing hard bid construction...probably commercial.

You can't flat rate commercial construction

Try EBM (electrical bid manager) from Vision Infosoft. Good price and easy to use with great technical support. Call and ask for Aaron Cobb
