If I have a service sized at 1600 amps, 4 sets of wires paralled for 400 amps each, for a 22 unit apartment complex and the service is 240 volts single phase, do I size my wires from 310.15(B)(16) or 310.15(B)(7) ?
In other words, 4 sets of 400 kcmil cu or 4 sets of 600 kcmil cu. Thanks Mr. S

You can only use (B)(7) for those portions of the wiring that serve a single dwelling unit within the building. It does not affect the wiring for the building-wide service/feeder. And in any case, it does not apply directly to parallel conductors in feeders.

4 sets of 600. (B)(7) is good for individual dwelling units and single phase
