There is no NEC requirement for separation for a cat 5 cable from a chapter 3 wiring method, regardless if its RMC, NM or MC.
The rule in section 800.133 is for separation from conductors. MC is cable with conductors in it.

Normally you cross the wiring method at right angles. The 277 V MC may induce some hum, but thats not a code issue.

Cat 5 is digital. No hum to be induced. MC cable has twisted wires so I doubt any EMF to interfere with data.

Failed inspection for mc cable crossing and touching data and phone lines, all the lighting is 277 volts and in mc. In article 800.133 (2) does exception No. 1 apply?

800.133 is for separation from conductors not cables. The inspector is incorrect.

The end is definitely coming sometime soon, but there is salvation, but only if you move these cables so they can not contact one another, and repent to your inspector and AHJ by sending in the required reinspection fees, and change your ways so you never bring those two kinds of cables so close to one another ever again:)
