Something tells me this company isn't going to want to pay me to fix it properly. When I started discussing equipment prices, the owner told me that he buys panels and breakers from a guy in Maryland who guts them out of burned out mobile homes for $50 and that he doesn't pay supply house prices. :slaphead:

Switch the POCO feed and the load. Then you can open the breaker to the POCO while you use the generator.

I'd report that to the AHJ , and the POCO. When they cut the power lines and not just the pull the meter maybe he'll get the point.
When the POCO explains that the owner could have killed someone, and thanks that it was noticed by the meter reader.
