gas hot water heater question

I'm wiring a residential gas hot water heater that has an induction motor/blower that is part of the unit. I need to provide electric for it. Does the electric need to be on its own circuit or can i just feed out of the closest outlet to feed it?

If the manufacturer has not specified a dedicated circuit and your existing circuit does have adequate excess capacity, then you can do that.

Generally speaking they can be wired from any available circuit.
