Let me start by saying I'm not very familiar with the NEC requirements for Hazardous Locations (that's why I'm here :D).

I've got a job coming up where we will be relocating an area that is used for storing paint and oil. In the current location, they have all of the storage containers/bins bonded, and I'm trying to find exactly what the bonding requirements are so I can be sure to specify everything correctly for the new location. I've looked through Chapter 5, but nothing jumped out at me as requiring metal storage bins to be bonded. Can somebody point me in the right direction? What section(s) require metal storage bins in a Hazardous Location to be bonded?

What and where to bond is basically covered by Article 250, possibly Section 515.16, and reviewing the external standards referenced in Section 500.4(B) especially FPN/IN No.3.

How to bond is covered in Section 501.30.
