What's the difference between condulets and a mogul?

A condulet is a slang term for a conduit body. A mogul is typically just a larger than normal sized conduit body that can be sometimes used to comply with the 6X and 8X pulling rules. Often they have angled covers to make conductor installation easier.

Condulet?, is the Crouse-Hinds registered trademark for its conduit bodies.

All moguls are not alike.

Red Dot has the angled cover. Crouse Hinds does not. Both are larger than a standard fitting.

Do not confuse the large conduit body with a mogul edison screw base lamp, which is different from a "mogul lamp" . Sometimes I think we have just too much jargon.
