has anyone here been involved with financing small lighting or other types of energy saving projects.
I see there are some big financial companies making a nice margin off of these types of projects.
The idea is that the consumer doesn't have to come up with capital funds to move the project forward, the contractor gets paid and the project is funded by the energy savings.
Could this type of model work with a shopping center LED conversion installation. The numbers look like they are very short ROI, something less than 3 years.
I was thinking of bringing this business model to an investor but was wondering if anyone else has either done this in house or brought in a third party to help the owner finance it.
