FMC from xfrmr to Panel

Is it against code to land FMC from a xfrmr directly into the panel if it is within 5' or do you have to transition to EMT etc? Thanks.

lol...well I could probably not go NUTs with it.....always keep in mind the location and Section 348.12(7) regarding the location of this XFMR and FMC as well as keep in mind Section 250.118(5) where applicable and remember 250.96 and blah...blah....you get the point. Other than that..Go Nuts as iwire stated:D

I thought about it...and still like it;)

Well....considering there is no OCPD ahead of it I don't like it.....so why did you make me think about it;)

I said where "applicable...lol.." so it's no applicable but I did say it...;)

What if the XFMR has built in protection for the.....oh forget it I don't want to dribble down that path;)

Wait....did we assume he was talking ONLY about secondary conductors???? maybe he is installing FMC to the primary side?...No, say it can't happen.....say it is not possible...:angel:

We have always used Flex to isolate the Trans vibration to the building. Non utility trans and service of course.
Many a times speced out that way by the engineer.
