Art 551 motor homes

Hello everyone, my husband and I are installing a 50 amp 4 wire receptacle outside of a customers home for his motor home. I have a outdoor rated plug assembly for their cord. Our question is : Do we need to install a 50 amp gfci breaker in the main panel for that receptacle outside? From my research of article of 551 I don't see the requirement. Please let me know if I may have misinterpreted the code.

I do not see any requirement for GFCI protection of the circuit or receptacle in 551.

406.8(B)(2) may prove interesting if the receptacle is in wet location unless you use one the the enclosures designed for such use.
