I have a new 1600 amp GE Power Break II Circuit Breaker which has been tripping out intermittenlty, It has tripped about 6 times over the past 2-3 years, unfortunately, when it was installed, know one knew the trip settings on the old breaker which did not retain the information in its memory. We thought that the breaker was tripping due to other reasons but it appears that it is probably a ground fault nuisance trip as it was verified to be on its lowest setting. Does anyone know where I can go to find some information on how to make a field adjustment to the trip setting on these breakers? I have been searching GE's website but have not found anything.

That's a sad statement (for GE) right there, but not surprising. GE can be very difficult to navigate for people who do not go there a lot. Same for Siemens, maybe even worse.

I strongly suggest, given that you have now apparently lost your trip coordination, that you hire a NETA certified agency to come out and do a new coordination study and test / set your breakers. ALL of them.
