That appears to be for 4 awg or larger. I was looking for smaller that 4.

maybe it's these basically 342.46, 344.46, & 362.46. Which includes any size conductor entering a box or enclosure ?

My inspector is requiring bushings on pvc conduit that is not entering a box but stubbing up above a ceiling. I can see how he can use the 3 articles given to make this requirement.

Actually it is a detached storage building which happens to have finished paneling walls. Your article 334.15(c) seems to be exactly what he is looking for.
