what are the formula's used to determine fault currect and aic rating of a panel. I'm looking at some job and one of the panels (H1)
and it has a fault current of 51,499 and an kAIC rating of 65. Can anyone explain in detail how this is figured out by engineers ?

The simple way to ballpark it is to take the full load amps of the upstream transformer secondary and divide that by the transformer's impedance. Then just size your AIC to the next higher standard rating.
