morning
I'm in the middle of an office TI.
The work entails breaking up the common area lighting and creating small office
space lighting.
The existing lighting is using the AFC modular cable system. (277).
I was going to open and box the cables and add the necessary mc whips where needed to accommodate the new lighting
layout.
Would it be an issue with the inspector, my modifying the factory cables this way.
Our shop didn't bid the job to buy new modular cables.
The alternative is to rework the entire suite with m/c , abandoning the AFC cables altogether.
