bonding strip in HCF-LITE cable

How do you properly terminate the extra bonding strip in HCF-Lite cable for healthcare applications.I have seen them wrapped back around the outer sheath of the cable,cut off at the end of the sheath and connected to all other grounds in the box and landed.
What is the proper method of terminating the bonding strip?

Before placing the MCI-A Connector on the cable....Bend back 120 degrees and snip it off....it has served it's purpose already.
